This week the temperatures are rising and rising (lately it’s been 95F/35C almost every day!) and I wanted to share some of the makeup must-haves I’ve been reaching for each morning that stay put no matter the weather! I did a post a few months ago about my winter makeup favorites too!
E.L.F. Cosmetics x Nabela Noor Loose Highlighter
This highlighter is absolutely beautiful and the first loose highlighter I’ve ever used–I bought it in the massive E.L.F. sale a few months ago and didn’t realize that it’s no longer available on their website or Ulta! There are a few on eBay, but my other go-to E.L.F. highlighter for summer heat is their jelly highlighter because it stays put no matter what! As some of you may know, highlighter is my absolute favorite makeup item and the highlighters from E.L.F. don’t disappoint!
E.L.F. Cosmetics Primer-Infused Bronzer in Forever Sunkissed
I primarily use this bronzer to add some glow and definition in my makeup looks, and also to balance out my foundation tones when needed. It stays put all day and is really easy to apply! It also doesn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Tonic, Rose Flash Balm, and Glow Mud Mask
A few months ago I got a few goodies from Pixi beauty because I had never tried their skincare range and WOW do I love it!! I was dealing with stress breakouts and dull skin and these have completely transformed my skin in a matter of a few weeks! The summer weather and wearing SPFs (super important!) can sometimes give me breakouts but these products help to cleanse, balance, and tone my skin. They also haven’t caused any reactions for my super sensitive skin (I was a bit hesitant about the mud mask because of bad experiences with charcoal based masks but this works wonders and is very gentle!).
Olay Complete Sensitive Daily Moisture Cream with SPF 15
As I mentioned before, SPF is super important in the summer! I’ve always struggled to find an SPF based moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts but this is a winner! It’s super affordable as well, and lasts ages! It wears really well under makeup (also important in the hot weather) and doesn’t leave skin oily.
I love this lip liner and gloss combo because the lip liner doesn’t budge all day and the gloss is very moisturizing! Both are great for dry and hot summer weather! They are really high quality as well, and smell amazing!
BH Cosmetics Base Booster Eyeshadow Primer
This is one of my all time favorites that I have definitely mentioned before, especially for hot weather! It dries quickly once applied and shadow stays all day without budging! It doesn’t irritate my eyes at all, and is very affordable. A little goes a long way too, and this tube is going to last forever.
I found this a few months ago at TJMaxx and I have been loving it! It’s hard to find a setting powder that doesn’t budge or need to be reapplied often, and this powder blends seamlessly into the skin for a matte finish. The packaging is incredibly durable and cute, and I have definitely dropped this more than I’d like to admit and it hasn’t broken!
E.L.F. Cosmetics Flawless Concealer in Warm Peach
I’ve been absolutely loving this concealer because it stays all day and is really easy to blend in! It’s very affordable and a little goes a long way! It also sets well with setting powder and wears well over SPF, two things that are essential for summer!
Seraphine Botanicals Rhubarb and Rose Lip and Cheek Palette
This palette is amazing! I only use the lighter shades for blush colors and then use the darker shades for lips, and what I love about them is they don’t cause breakouts when applied to my skin and they’re also one of the most moisturizing lip products I’ve ever used!! I also love their natural formulas (vegan with no mineral oil) and their berry extracts!
