My Summer Bucket List

My Summer Bucket ListI have officially finished my first year of college, and now that I am home in Colorado I am looking forward to all of the adventures that lie ahead! The following is a list of all that I hope to accomplish in the next few months before I return to college for my second year. πŸ™‚

My Summer Bucket List:

1. Hike around Boulder, CO on the weekends, and create vlogs of my adventures

Though I lived in the Boulder area for much of my life, I didn’t explore the surrounding mountains and trails. I am hoping to hike many of the famous and off-the-beaten-path trails, and would love to film these experiences to create more travel diaries.

2. Learn new healthy recipes, and adapt them for college living

3. Catch up on my reading list and my GoodReads recommendations

My college schedule left very little time for leisure reading, and there are many books that I am hoping to read and review. I am currently reading TheΒ Trials of Apollo: The Hidden OracleΒ by one of my favorite authors, Rick Riordan. I am absolutely loving it so far, and hope to do many more book reviews in the near future!

4. Volunteer and camp at the Mission:Wolf sanctuary

Their mission resonates with my goals in life, and I love to see the work that they are doing to ensure that wolves are protected both in Colorado and across the country.

5. Attend community events and leave my comfort zone in the process

lane-1362411_640Throughout my first year of college, I left my comfort zone behind in order to try new things. Because of this, I met many amazing people and made memories that I will never forget. Now that I am embarking on my first summer of living on my own, I am hoping to explore the world around me.

6. Focus on the little things in life

sunset-51890_640This summer, I am hoping to take the time to focus on the small miracles of everyday life. I want to take the time to read, draw, color, watch the sunset, cook, and simply be. As I start a new chapter of my life, I am beginning to see what matters most. To me, the smallest moments in life always stay with me as the years pass by.

7. Create new content for my blog, and continue this amazing adventure

camera-541213_640My blog has led me on an amazing journey, and I have loved sharing my thoughts with the world. Now that I have more time, I hope to expand my content and put more of my heart and soul into my blog. I am hoping to expand my content to include written posts and videos of my daily journeys. I am also hoping to expand my social media presence and engage with my readers and fellow bloggers.

I am excited to start this new journey in my life, and I can’t wait to see what this summer brings! What is on your summer bucket list? Let me know in the comments! πŸ™‚
